Recognition, Remembrance, and Reflection: The Syphilis Study at Tuskegee and Macon County, Alabama

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) will hold a special presentation of Recognition, Remembrance, and Reflection: The Syphilis Study at Tuskegee and Macon County, Alabama. The presentation will acknowledge the 50th anniversary of the end of the U.S. Public Health Service Study of Untreated Syphilis in the Negro Male at Tuskegee and Macon County, Alabama, 1932 -1972.

The event will take place in a hybrid format on Wednesday, November 30, 2022, at CDC headquarters in Atlanta and virtually from 1:00 to 3:30 pm. The in-person event will be held in the Global Communications Center (Building 19), Alexander D. Langmuir Auditorium, Roybal Campus.
