True Charity Initiative Foundations Workshop

$20.00Atlanta area church and nonprofit leaders, staff, and volunteers who are involved in poverty alleviation are invited to attend this intensive workshop to dive into the principles and practices of effective charity. Based on the 7 Marks of Effective Compassion as outlined by Dr. Marvin Olasky’s groundbreaking book, The Tragedy of American Compassion, the event will couple dynamic presentations with opportunities for deep discussion and collaboration. Topics include:
- Philosophy: What does flourishing look like for those in poverty?
- Application: Which models and practices really work?
- Implementation: How can you incorporate these ideas into your individual context?
